Game description :
Meissner Effekt is a puzzle game using magnetism as main gameplay. The player has a weapon that can charge metallic objects with a positive or negative energy, same charges are repelling each other while opposite charge are attracting each other.
After stealing this weapon, the protagonist is trapped and must escape using the new acquired device.
The main goal of this project was to use everything that we learned to make a game from scratch on our own.
What did I do :

After organising a few brainstorming session, we decided to make a puzzle game on Unreal Engine to work on a simple but effective mechanic using a mix between Game and level design to entertain the player.
My role was to design the main feature and describe every possible actions from the player and make them fun, using a test map to try everything possible and what could possibly be fun.
After putting down those mechanics on papers, I designed a tutorial to introduce them to the player so he won't be lost for the levels after.
I also helped to make some assets and textures to reinforce the immersion for the player.
